Current projects and research in progress

Working Paper

Network Structures and Heterogeneity in Policy Preferences at the FOMC

With Arnab Bhattacharjee and Sean Holly

Spatial Network Effects Between Central Banks

With Mengdi Song, Arnab Bhattacharjee, and David Cobham

This project studies interdependence across central banks and explores how policy decisions and macroeconomic signals may transmit through spatial and network channels.

Research in Progress

Revisiting the Brexit Debate: Post-Brexit Effects from a Spatial Econometric Perspective

With Arnab Bhattacharjee

This project examines how economic connectedness between the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the rest of the world changed before, during, and after EU membership, with attention to institutional channels that may shape spatial economic effects.

Research in Progress

Small Open Economy Models with Spatial Effects

With Arnab Bhattacharjee and Atanas Christev

This research extends open-economy macroeconomic models by incorporating spatial interaction effects across countries, allowing international interdependencies to enter the model structure more explicitly.

Working Paper

Investigating the Effect of Green Finance Initiatives on Renewable Energy Penetration in Europe

With Tibor Szendrei, Andrea Eross, and Erkal Ersoy

This paper studies feed-in-tariff policies, green finance, renewable energy penetration, and macroeconomic outcomes in Europe using a Bayesian Global VAR framework.
